It is more than simply fuelling our bodies. It is part of many social occasions and celebrations in most cultures.
So how come it’s so complicated? The answer is quite simple. MONEY!
Diet culture is a huge industry. Every year billions of £’s are made by selling us these false promises. It is such a huge part of the society we live in.
This is why ditching the diet mentality is not as easy as you might think, although it is certainly possible and definitely worth it!
However, it is not (despite what social media might lead you to believe) simply a case of eating whatever you want, whenever you want. Nor is it the hunger/fullness diet.
Intuitive Eating is about listening to our bodies, (which includes our brains), to guide us.
It is NOT simply about the food. It is about your behaviour around food. Your beliefs about food.
I use a non-diet coaching approach to enable you to achieve confidence around food, health and body image. I don’t focus on weight loss. There is no diet. There are no meal plans. No exercise regime.
